Methodology for the Selection of Trenchless Sewer Rehabilitation Technologies in Bogotá, Colombia

Context: Operational and/or structural failures in sewer networks lead network operators to carry out rehabilitation tasks maintain water transport conditions, which is why it necessary decide on the type of intervention be performed, that is, i) a traditional open-ditch procedure, or ii) use trenchless technologies. Objective: This article focuses methodology developed and implemented SELECTOR program, whose purpose provide public service companies responsible for service, as well related professionals, with decision tool answers, from technical perspective, analyzed technologies (pipe bursting, cured-in-place pipe, slip lining, spiral wound) most suitable networks. Method: To this effect, to consider all influence parameters at time rehabilitation, define application ranges these technologies, extract differential variables, fuzzy logic verbalization, determine priority relationship between variables using data mining technique known trees, develop program by means Visual Studio 2017® platform. Results: The decisions regarding underground sewerage infrastructure projects were identified.
